Charles Akpabio Joseph Akpabio Emmanuel Akpabio |
It sounds like a fairy tale yet it is true. The Nigerian Police and SSS have been indulging in secret killings of supposed enemies to politicians at a fee. This they do and frame the people they killed either as kidnappers or as robbers. The victims are never given any chance to defend themselves.
On Sunday the 25th of March, three brothers of same Parents: Charles, Emmanuel and Joseph Akpabio were shot before their aged mother, Atim Akpabio of about seventy two years old by the STATE SECURITY SERVICE (SSS) and POLICE KILLER SQUAD.
GENESIS OF THE MATTER

The three white men came with a drink to invite the youth leaders of the clan to come for a meeting concerning the Dam that is to be constructed in their land. It is our tradition to honour such invitations. Joseph Akpabio who is the youth leader invited all the people in the village who came around and saw the white men with Benjamin, their friend. The people who came around welcomed the idea, unknown to them that Benjamin their best friend was used to set them up. They also came with two other people who later on were known to be SSS. They decided that the meeting should be at Ikot Ekpene which is about one hour drive from Nkari clan. It has now been known that Noel Nduka of the SSS was one of them. Noel Nduka has murdered many Akwa Ibom indigenes and framed them up as kidnappers while the main kidnappers are never molested.
The meeting was fixed at Ikot Ekpene, Benjamin suggested to Joseph that the meeting should be in his wife’s house at Ikot Ekpene where the wife resides with their one year old baby. Joseph, not suspecting anything agreed. Benjamin sat before them, called Charles Akpabio who is a Sailor and resides in Calabar and told Charles of the meeting. Charles then called Joseph to confirm it. They then picked few other youths in the EXECUTIVE of the Nkari youth—one Solomon Udoette and two others from other villages in Nkari including Emmanuel Akpabio.
On the 25th of March, all left for the meeting in Joseph wife’s house. Joseph had called the wife and informed her of the meeting, she was instructed by Joseph to buy drinks and water and prepare some snacks for the visitors. She was further told to buy petrol so that they could put on light and fan while the meeting lasted. Unknown to her as she ran around, she was actually preparing for the gruesome murder of her husband.
Benjamin Christopher The man who betrayed the boys to be killed |
That same day, the white men and Benjamin called Joseph Akpabio to be sure he was there, they then asked about Charles Akpabio, the elder brother who lives in Calabar, and Joseph told them he was on his way. Not long, they all were in Joseph’s compound and the friend Benjamin Christopher Akpan Otu—a commercial motorcyclist—also came in as a participant of the meeting. The white men came in a truck driven by one Toppa, Joseph Akpabio’s friend. Toppa is from a place called Obot Akara which has boundary with Nto Edino.
A little while into the meeting, the white men said they had to hold a brief discussion outside. As they left, the generating plant went off, Joseph’s wife rushed out to check if it was petrol problem. There she met over twenty police men wearing black T-shirts. They ordered her to stand still or else they would kill her; there the white men shook hands with the leaders of the squad, Noel Nduka and others, then left from there.

The police rushed into Joseph wife’s house rounded them up and asked them to lie down flat on their faces, handcuffed them behind, and forced them into their trucks. Benjamin Christopher Otu who was also handcuffed had his own handcuffs released. He suddenly began to discuss with the police freely. The police shot all the boys (about six of them) on their knees and crippled them. They used a Rafia Rope to tie Joseph who was questioning Benjamin what crime they had committed. Benjamin replied that they should "go and shine in the grave". Only Benjamin was not hurt. The police then drove them to the village with Benjamin to direct and to possibly identify the father of Emmanuel, Charles and Joseph to be killed also.
Corpses of Joseph and Charles crying for Justice |
It could be recalled that two weeks before then, Benjamin came with a boy called Toppa and told Joseph of how the youths of the land were vandalizing things from the Dam. Benjamin insisted that since Joseph is the youth president he should call Charles to accompany him to go pick some of those things for safety. Charles told the wife that Benjamin was filming them with his camera phone while they were doing that but Benjamin denied. Today, the police are using what Benjamin filmed as their evidence to the fact that the boys have been stealing from the Dam.
These two boys were shot before their aged mother of about 72 years and their uncle’s wife 82 years old. Emmanuel and other three boys were carried away. Later on, Benjamin Christopher Akpan Otu told one Peter Ekpenyong Inuaeyen that the four boys who were not killed were at the STATE POLICE HEAD QUARTERS, Ikot Akpan Abia and handed over these phone numbers
(1)NOEL NDUKA---------------------------08034731462 (the SSS officer who killed the boys. He says he is still looking for the father and the sister—Helen Ukpabio—of these boys to kill.)

Emmanuel Akpabio, Solomon Udoette and two others (victims of unjustified murder) |
Meanwhile, on the 26th night which was Monday, Noel Nduka packed these other four boys who were still alive—Emmanuel Akpabio, Solomon Udoette and two others. He drove them towards the village of one of his secret agent Toppa whom he used for the set up. He drove from Uyo to Ikot Ekpene, by this time it was 12 midnight. The boys were in terrible pains from the gun shots and bleeding without any aid, he drove the boys who were all well dressed to attend a meeting with white men; he drove them to Obot Akara and then brought them all out, shot them at the boundary of Nto Edino and Obot Akara. This was about 1am of 27th March 2012. Benjamin then called Peter Ekpeyong and told him that “all are gone”. Meanwhile, Noel Nduka—the killer of the boys, told a local newspaper (FRESH CALL) that the police team encountered some robbers who robbed in Abia State into Akwa Ibom and killed four of them. Imagine such lies. Can Noel Nduka tell us whom they robbed? And whom they kidnapped? Benjamin claimed he was made to give statement by the police, why didn’t others brought to give statement?
The question remains who are these white men? We hereby call all the people of the world who love justice to help plead with Akwa Ibom State SSS and their hit man Noel Nduka to please release the bodies of these last people including Emmanuel Akpabio for burial. They were killed and abandoned on the road, these are men taken from their homes, no war, no rioting, no chaos, no robbery and no weapons. They murdered them because of hatred. Benjamin Christopher Akpan Otu boasted that the police/ SSS have taken so much money for this execution of three brothers from one man.

The family of Chief Essesien Akpabio wants the bodies of the boys for a formal burial. A lawyer who went to see the D.P.O of Obot Akara met with disappointment because he would not co-operate with the lawyer. The D.P.O of Obot Akara, a Police Superintendent, Mr. Esin has been harassing family members of Emmanuel Akpabio and will not allow them carry the corpse.
If Noel Nduka is justified to kill these boys, why is he framing them up as robbers, kidnappers, thieves, of a Dam? We are told Noel Nduka is still insisting that he must kill Lady Apostle Helen Ukpabio whom he claimed has been aiding the kidnappers. Can this be right? Is Noel Nduka in his right senses? Can one just hire the police to kill innocent people for no just cause?
Noel Nduka is still spying on the family, hacking into their phones to get conversations and movements—this is more than AL MUSTAPHA. He has also sent threat messages and calls to the only brother of the deceased, Henry Akpabio who is in UK, that they are commissioned to eliminate him and the entire family of Chief Esessien Akpabio. Nduka used a security number from Nigeria to call Henry, telling him that he (Henry Akpabio) is not safe even in the UK as they were set to eliminate him. The mother of the victims, Atim Akpabio, is calling on the First Lady of the Federation, Dame Patience Jonathan, to execute justice on her behalf; and that the corpses of her sons be released to her. She is also calling on the UK Government to protect her son, Henry Akpabio, residing in the territory. Please Nigerians, rise up and fight this battle for us. Send this to others through email, facebook, twitter and any other networks.

The story is sympathetic, but it started in the middle. It seems incomplete. May their souls find rest.
